Book Review

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It’s utter nonsense—and I absolutely love it! A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas is a whirlwind of fantasy, action, and, yes, delightful nonsense that you won’t want to put down. The story takes the bones of the previous book and builds a world so intriguing and characters so captivating that they’ll live in your mind long after you turn the last page.

Feyre has gone through a stunning transformation, evolving from the somewhat frustratingly naïve and slightly annoying girl we met into a true leader. She’s stronger, smarter, and incredibly relatable as she wrestles with her new powers and responsibilities. Watching her step into her own is one of the best parts of the book.

And don’t get me started on the slow-burn romance—wow. Maas knows how to draw it out and make you savour every look, every touch, every moment of tension. It’s woven perfectly into the story without taking over, keeping you on the edge of your seat.

If you’re ready to dive into a fantasy escape with loads of emotional highs and lows, A Court of Mist and Fury is pure, nonsensical delight. Grab a copy, suspend all disbelief, and enjoy the ride! Bring on the next one!!
